One afternoon. Many ways to move.

Mix & Move is an afternoon to move, explore and cherry-pick what feels good — from tai chi and capoeira to contact improvisation, somatic dance and bodywork and massage.
Join a single workshop, combine a few, or stay for the full experience. Between sessions, there will be time to rest, share a meal and meet others.
Each activity works on its own, so you can choose the ones that spark your curiosity, or mix a few into your own programme, or stay for the entire afternoon.
New to a practice? You’re welcome. Already experienced? There will be room to go further. All workshops are accessible without previous experience, with possibilities to explore according to your level and curiosity.

Explore Capoeira Angola, a Brazilian movement practice combining movement, rhythm and interaction. Through playful exercises and movement games, we’ll practise moving close to the floor, weight shifts and changes of direction while developing coordination, mobility and body awareness. We’ll gradually discover how these foundations can open the door to fluid, accessible soft acrobatics.
Gaspar is a Chilean musician-capoerista who has been training capoeira Angola since 2014, learning from mestres and contra-mestres across Europe and sharing the practice through his teaching in and around Brussels.

In somatic dance, we pay attention to how movement feels and where it comes from, using this awareness as material for dance improvisation. We’ll explore the spine through waves, spirals and isolations, and bring these movements into playful partner exercises. Through this exploration, we’ll develop body awareness and discover more ease, fluidity and possibilities in how we move and connect with others.
Agnieszka is a dancer, teacher and movement explorer whose practice brings together contemporary dance, somatic movement, capoeira, Contact Improvisation, forró, fusion and other partner dances.
